Don’t you dare compromise!!

I seriously doubt that any members of the newly-elected class of Representatives or Senators will ever read this, but if they would the messages I would deliver are: Don’t you dare compromise - play hardball with the Democrat/Socialists you encounter in the House and Senate. They played hardball with you by ramming Obamacare through not only without giving your predecessors a voice but not even giving them the chance to read the Bill.

The liberal media are already trying to persuade and bully our newly elected representatives to “cooperate” with Obama. Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos said, “But (conservatives) have to make a chocice as well. Do they choose to cooperate with President Obama or stand firm on principle, which is going to guarantee gridlock?” I say, bring on the gridlock. Remember, in Democratic and media’s world-view, compromise and cooperation are nothing less than complete surrender. So, don’t compromise and don’t surrender. We didn’t send you to Washington to compromise, we sent you there to re-claim our country.

The House has the power to control the nation’s purse-strings. De-fund the Health Care Law; de-fund the EPA and take away the power of the bureaucracy to partially fund themselves by charging and collecting fines and fees; de-fund the Department of Education - return control of our children’s education to the states and local boards and de-fund every single “Czar” appointed by Obama. The list goes on but we can’t expect to undo in one two- year span what has taken the Socialists more than 50 years to construct.

Remember your campaign promises to address the issue of jobs. Remember the fact that government doesn’t create jobs. All the government can do is create a climate favorable to job creation but it is up to entrepreneurs and small business owners to create the wealth to create jobs. Burdensome taxes skim that wealth and impede, or even stop, the creation of jobs. Not only should all of the Bush tax cuts remain, they should be made even deeper for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

We are trusting you to toss out Obama’s socialist plans and replace them with tried and true American values - free enterprise, hard work, low taxes and an achievable American dream.

Ask yourselves: Are we better off now than we were $13 trillion dollars ago? In other words, GET US OUT OF DEBT! Shrink the size of government and above all - quit borrowing and spending.
